USIL participates in World Entrepreneurship Week 2021

Event has been included in activities for the National Science Week of Concytec.

San Ignacio University in Loyola and the British Peruvian Chamber of Commerce will hold the 12th World Entrepreneurship Week to encourage and boost Peruvian entrepreneurs, from November 16 to 19.

The virtual event will feature more than 30 national and international exhibitors and will be held simultaneously and free of charge in more than 140 countries to raise solutions to the challenges faced by global entrepreneurs and the labor market challenges for new generations; besides promoting the inclusion and innovation of entrepreneurship.

In Peru, participants will have access to specialized conferences and will be able to connect with mentors and investors to exchange experiences and even establish contact networks that allow the emergence of new ventures.

Among the topics to be developed are: how to do business with the UK in a post-covid-19 scenario, the challenges of renewables, softlanding in Latin America, environmental sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship from science, tips for the development of artificial intelligence, the challenges for incubation and acceleration in times of pandemic and revival from innovation.

The event will also feature the linkage initiative for accelerating innovation under the Concytec – World Bank project.

Daniel Diez Canseco Terry, vice president of Entrepreneurship at the San Ignacio de Loyola Educational Corporation, expressed his satisfaction for holding the largest event of incentive of entrepreneurial culture worldwide by an ally as important as the British Peruvian Chamber of Commerce.

For his part, Enrique Anderson Seminario, chairman of the board of the British Peruvian Chamber of Commerce, said that USIL is an important ally and reference for the promotion and positioning of entrepreneurial culture in the country and in Latin America.

“Working on the implementation of World Entrepreneurship Week together over the past twelve years is a clear indication that good results are achieved by working together to improve year after year,” said Anderson.

It should be noted that World Entrepreneurship Week has been included in the calendar of activities of National Science Week, which is carried out in our country by Concytec.
